Our Story• How it All Began.

The idea for Girl Friday was initially created when two sisters were helping their mother battle through terminal cancer. Having gone through a similar situation with their father, they knew first-hand how difficult it could be to juggle a full time job, a household (or two), and all of the curve balls life can throw at you.

When it all got to be too much, they reached out for some help with errands, but couldn’t find one company that could offer the variety of services we needed — and nothing at a reasonable rate.

They realized the need for a company that could offer a variety of household help—for busy people, stressed people, ill people or just someone needing a hand—in one location, and at a fair rate. 

That’s why Girl Friday is committed to giving you the peace of mind that we couldn’t find. Sometimes you just need a helping hand, whether that is house cleaning, driving services, household errands or picking up a loved one. If we can provide you or your family with even a few hours of relief, for time to relax, sleep, laugh or enjoy each other’s company, then we have done our job. We are here to help.
